A bit about me
Work History
I spent a long time trying to work out what I wanted to do, I've tried my hand at most things ... my early career included shop work, bar work, waiting tables, driving and delivering pharmaceuticals, mucking out stables, sales, admin, and working for a local newspaper. During the last 15 years I worked in large public and private sector organisations including the NHS, Education and Housing, and worked my way up to be Director Of Customer Experience before finally finding setting up 'The Freedom Coach' in 2021.
Qualifications
I am a fully qualified coach, with an internationally recognised qualification. I am also an experienced NLP ( neuro lingustic programming) Master. i have a first class Hons degree in Management and Leadership, and also a first class Masters Degree in People and Leadership
My Passion
Whist my career has taken some interesting twists and turns, what has also been apparent throughout it is that I love helping people. Helping them achieve their goals, develop professionally and personally, providing support, a listening ear and always encouraging a positve mindset. I LOVE SEEING PEOPLE SUCCEED. Being able to coach for a living plays to all my strengths, and gives me the greatest job satisfaction I've ever experienced.
Background
I was born and raised in Doncaster, the oldest of 4 siblings - 2 brothers and a sister. I moved to Sheffield as a rebellious teenager wanting to earn money and create a new life, before moving to Manchester about 5 years ago. I now get to meet people all over the world as coaching remotes means it doesnt matter where you are.
Hobbies and Interests
My number one passion is health and fitness, having worked with a health and fitness coach for the last 3 years, I have discovered a love for the gym and runinng. Over the last few years I've surpised myself entering a number of Half marathons and currently working towards the New York Half Marathon in March 2023. Other favourite pass times are music, live gigs, and spending time with friends and family.
